A Fall Day

Air Canada Jazz Dash 8 in Terrace
Air Canada Jazz in Terrace
With only one aircraft allowed to be IFR, approaching or departing Terrace, we sat waiting for a Central Mountain Air 1900 to arrive, and this Air Canada Jazz Dash 8 to depart and climb up to around 8000' or so.

My Personal Speed Record
My Speed Record, Bottom Left
Strong winds out of the North West gave us a 115 knot tail wind on this Terrace to Vancouver leg, 420 knots over the ground is pretty quick for a King Air. CYBD is Bella Coola, and that diamond with the -19 is that Air Canada Jazz Dash 8 we followed out of Terrace, 1900' below us and about 25 miles ahead.

Our King Air 350 parked with another Jazz Dash 8 taxiing behind in Kamloops

Lined up for 08R in Vancouver

A WestJet 737-700 takes off of runway 08R, Vancouver

Hey av8r,

Great shots! Have you surpased your old ground speed record yet?

I would say so James. I'm not even sure what is now, but it's over 500 :)
